Summer ECE Teachers Temporary

DETAILS:

• All positions are subject to adequate enrollment and are temporary summer positions
• No fringe benefits
• The program location is Affton Early Childhood Center
• Positions needed for 4 preschool-age camps
• Positions Available: 12
• Salary: $140 Per Day
• Summer School employment is a commitment to work all days in the session

Time Frame

• Tentative program dates:
  • Session 1 -> June 2 – 13, 2025
  • Session 2 -> June 16 – 27, 2025 (Not in session on June 19th)
  • Session 3 -> June 30 – July 11, 2025 (Not in session on July 4th)
  • Session 4 -> July 14 – 25, 2025
• The program is 8 weeks (4 sessions of two weeks)
• Preschoolers will be in session daily from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Teachers work Monday – Friday, 5 hours/day (Total stipend is $1,512 per 10-day session or $1,372 per 9-day session)
• The position also works the equivalent of 4 hrs/session, for pre/post program preparation
• Juneteenth on June 19th is a non-work/school day
• Dates may be adjusted by the administration as needed
• Summer ECE pay dates are TBD

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree and appropriate Missouri teaching certification required

External candidates must have a resume entered into Unified Talent Applicant Tracking, prior to the closing date, in order to be considered for a position. Cover letters and copies of transcripts are optional. Verification of certification and transcripts will be requested upon hire.
