Summer School Teaching Assistant Temporary

Are you passionate about supporting students with special needs and making a difference in their education? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Summer School Program and help create a positive, engaging learning environment!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily and long-term lesson planning
• Provide instruction and classroom support under the direction of a certified teacher
• Identify and support the special needs of individual students
• Assist with student records, data collection, and documentation
• Support whole group, small group, and individual instruction
• Help with student behavior management and engagement
• Provide escort and assistance to students as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• New York State Teaching Assistant Certification (Required)
• Experience working with special needs students preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
• Must be available every day of Summer School

Salary: $24 per hour
