Summer School Teachers Grades 9-12 Temporary

DETAILS:

• All positions are subject to adequate enrollment and are temporary summer positions
• No fringe benefits
• Program location: Affton High School
• Positions needed may include credit recovery in English-Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies as well as credit recovery and credit advancement in Health, Physical Education, Personal Finance and other electives
• Summer School employment is a commitment to work all days in the program
• Positions Available: 12
• Salary: $196 Per Day

Time Frame

• Tentative program dates for credit recovery and advancement:
  • Session 1 -> June 9 – June 20, 2025 (No School June 19th)
  • Session 2 -> June 23 – July 3, 2025
• Program for Grades 9-12: 18 total days (Total stipend is $1,960.00 for 1 session or $3,920 for 2 sessions)
• Grades 9-12 will be in session Monday – Friday, 6.67 hours/day (+ 20 min. lunch)
• Teachers work Monday – Friday, 7 hours/day (+ 20 min. duty-free lunch)
• The position also works the equivalent of 1 day, for pre/post program for each session
• Juneteenth on June 19th is a non-work/school day
• Dates may be adjusted by the administration as needed
• 9-12 Summer School pay date TBD

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree and appropriate Missouri teaching certification required
