Summer ELE Lead Teacher Part Time Temporary
The English Language Education (ELE) Summer Programming Lead Teacher will work alongside the ELE Director to oversee the daily operations of all ELE summer programs in the district.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory and distribute supplies/materials
- Train high school volunteers (two 1-hour sessions)
- Support camp staff with materials, technology, and facilities
- Communicate with parents regarding schedules and events
- Address coverage issues for absent staff
- Liaise with principals and nursing staff as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Massachusetts ESL teaching license
- Prior experience in a similar leadership role
- Availability to teach in-person during the ELE summer program
Compensation: $925 stipend
Work schedule: June 30 – July 31, 2025 (Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
No camp on Thursday, July 3
