Special Education Teacher – Summer School Temporary NEW
Questar III BOCES announces full-time Special Education Teacher vacancies for our 2025 Special Education Extended School Year Summer School. Classes run from July 7 to August 15, with a full-day orientation on July 2.
Requirements:
- Proper NYS Students with Disabilities certification is required (SWD 1-6, 5-9, or 7-12)
- Applicants who recently graduated and are pursuing NYS Teacher certification are also encouraged to apply
- Preferred candidates will have dual certification, strong classroom management skills, background in trauma-informed care, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), and experience working with a team to implement Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
