Middle School Summer Learning Math Teacher Part Time Temporary NEW

Wayzata Public Schools is seeking enthusiastic Middle School Math Teachers to join our Summer Learning Academy and help students build confidence and skills in mathematics through engaging, targeted instruction.

Position Overview

As a Middle School Math Teacher, you will:

• Create a classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth
• Motivate students to develop essential math skills through engaging lessons
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Establish effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Support students in achieving their personal academic goals

Qualifications

• Valid MN Teaching License
• Experience with instructional design and differentiation for diverse learners
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
• Ability to build relationships with students, parents, and staff
• Proficiency in technology to support instruction and progress monitoring

Location: East Middle School (5th-7th Grade students)
Dates: July 7 – July 31 (Monday – Thursday)
Hours: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM (Staff Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM)
Pay: BA = $39.95/hour, MA = $44.07/hour
