Position Overview:

Prospect Hill Academy Charter School is seeking qualified teachers to provide small group math intervention in our July Summer Learning Program. Teachers will deliver targeted math instruction to two differentiated small groups of students (80 minutes per group) and support students based on their identified needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective small group math instruction for two student groups.
• Run a grade-level homeroom with a partner daily (8:00–8:30 AM), including a morning meeting or advisory.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instruction as needed.
• Oversee lunch and dismissal routines.
• Communicate student progress with families.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven ability to deliver effective small group math instruction.
• Ability to analyze student learning data and adjust teaching accordingly.
• Strong skills in building positive relationships with students and families.
• Knowledge of relevant math standards and instructional practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in providing math intervention.
• Familiarity with Illustrative Math.
• Experience with Renaissance Math assessment (preferred).

Orientation Dates:

• Two virtual sessions (90 minutes each) – June dates TBD.
• One in-person session (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM) – June 23, 2025.
