CARE Upward Bound Math & Science Pre-Collegiate Summer Instructor Part Time Temporary

Our Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement (CARE) is looking for instructors that will:

• Create an engaging grade-level appropriate course curriculum for each course taught.
• Effectively implement the curriculum developed for each course to include utilizing a variety of teaching techniques.
• Provide feedback on students’ performance via quantitative or qualitative methods.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to build rapport with youth.

Anticipated Salary Range and Work Hours:

$27 per hour, the schedule is 12 hours a week between 9 am to 2 pm.
