2025 Summer Programs – SPELL Elementary: Teacher, Grades 1-6 Temporary

Program Goal: Summer Partners for Language and Learning (SPELL) provides Multilingual Learners with theme-based language development experiences in the morning and enrichment activities provided by community partners in the afternoon.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supervising children in informal and formal settings
• Ability to support children in learning activities
• Ability to supervise children in recreational activities
• Ability to collaborate and function effectively as a team member
• Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
• Reliable and able to maintain a schedule
• Bilingual/multilingual and ability to communicate with diverse students and families

Terms of Employment:

• Seasonal/Yearly Appointment
• Summer School Program Schedule: July 7, 2025 – August 1, 2025
• Rate: $25.00 per/hour
• Monday through Friday, 8 am – 1 pm
• SPELL program professional development for all SPELL staff will take place in the last week on June or the first week of July.
