HGL ART Summer Camp 2025: Inspire the Next Generation of Artists! (Potential for Full-Time Positions!)

HGL ART, a pioneering bilingual art preschool, seeks passionate and highly qualified educators to join our dynamic team for our exciting Summer Camp program! We are dedicated to fostering innovation and problem-solving skills in young children through a unique, arts-based curriculum. If you are a creative, dedicated teacher with a passion for early childhood education and bilingualism, we encourage you to apply! Highly qualified individuals may be considered for full-time teaching positions in the fall!

Open Positions:

• Summer Camp Counselors: Support Lead Teachers and guide campers through daily art activities and other fun camp activities.
• Summer Camp Lead Teachers: Plan, teach, and coordinate art-focused activities for a specific age group, fostering creativity and skill development. Incorporate Spanish, and Mandarin fluently throughout the student’s day.
• Specialty Instructors: Lead specialized workshops (e.g., painting, sculpture, mixed media, Musical experiences, or sports) for various age groups.

Camp Details:

Dates: June 29th – July 24th, 2025
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM | After Camp Services may be requested and paid separately
Flexibility: Choose the weeks you want to work or commit to the full summer

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and engaging environment for all campers.
• Assist or lead the organization, supervision, and delivery of art-focused camp activities.
• Serve as a positive role model and mentor for campers.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the HGL ART community.

Essential Qualifications:

• Passion for art education and working with young children!
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent (Summer Camp Counselors Only).
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, or a related field. (Can be in progress)
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin, and/or Spanish.
  • Experience working with children in an art or educational setting.
  • Ability to participate in physical activities related to art instruction and camp supervision.

Compensation:

We offer competitive pay rates commensurate with experience and position:

• Summer Camp Counselors: $19- $24 per hour
• Summer Camp Lead Teachers: $25-$30 per hour
• Specialty Instructors: $35-$65 per hour
