We are excited to offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus to NEW full-time Teaching Assistants joining our Langan School in Albany!

Position Overview

The Teaching Assistant will support students in various classroom settings, including:
✔ Autism/Crisis Classrooms
✔ Visually Impaired Classrooms
✔ Hearing Impaired Classrooms

This role is part of a 10-month program with a mandatory six-week summer session.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with activities aligned with students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Prepare classroom materials and provide direct instruction to students
• Provide custodial care as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required (college credits preferred)
• Must obtain NYS Teaching Assistant Certification (support provided)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $18.84 – $22.16 (commensurate with experience)
• $1,500 Sign-On Bonus for new full-time hires
