Summer Education Academy (SEA) World History/ GeographyTeacher Part Time Temporary NEW

The Tempe Union High School District (TUHSD) is seeking dedicated educators to plan, organize, and implement effective instructional programs that foster student learning and growth.

Location: Remote & Marcos de Niza High School (Final Exam Location)

Summer School Dates:

Session 1: June 2, 2025 – June 13, 2025
Session 2: June 16, 2025 – June 27, 2025

In-Person Requirements:

• Edmentum Training – Date TBD
• One lab session (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM) per session
• SEA hosts daily labs at 3 TUHSD sites (Monday – Thursday)
• Each SEA teacher will host one lab per session
• Final Exams (In-Person) at MDN:
• June 13, 26 & 27 (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• SEA Graduation: June 27, 2025 (2:30 PM – 3:30 PM)

Rate: $2,100 per session

Important Notes:

Teachers will be hired based on enrollment
Educators may teach multiple subjects per session, depending on student demand

Licensing/Certification Requirements:

• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate
• Approved Content Area on ADE Certificate
• Valid Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
