Early Learning Sevices- Summer Teacher- Multiple Positions (Preschool and ECFE) Temporary

Bloomington Public Schools is seeking dedicated and experienced Early Learning Services Summer Teachers for multiple openings in Preschool and Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners and their families during the summer months.

Job Details & Schedule:

Employment Period: June 9, 2025 – Week of July 7, 2025

Preschool Teacher Position:

• Orientation Day: June 9 (8 hours)
• Student Contact Days: 3.5 hours per day, Monday–Thursday (14 total student contact days)
• Classroom Pack-Up: Week of July 7 (16 hours)

ECFE Teacher Position:

• Up to 6 hours per week from June 9 – July 3

Qualifications:

• Required Licensure: Current MN Teaching License in Early Childhood and/or Parent Education
• Required Experience:
  • Experience teaching birth–age 5 and/or parent education
  • Experience teaching preschool

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement standards-based lessons for preschool or ECFE classes
• Manage the classroom environment effectively
• Communicate with parents and caregivers
• Collaborate with teaching teams and staff
• Perform other duties as needed to support students and program goals

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: Starting at $39.29 per hour
• This position is not eligible for benefits due to its short-term nature.
